The CME-owned Slovak national commercial broadcaster TV Markiza is reported to have been fined SKK2 million (€59,640) by the Broadcasting Council (Rada) for showing a Big Brother nomination programme before the watershed. It has also received a SKK200,000 fine for another programming infringement, while TV Joj was fined SKK300,000. Slovakia’s Supreme Court (NS) has confirmed the regulator’s rulings.
