Jaman and TiVo today announced that an agreement between the companies will bring thousands of independent and international movies to the TV via the TiVo PVR. Movies will cost $1.99 and up, but some shorts are being made available for free. The Jaman offer comes on top of the Amazon Unbox library, which also offers thousands of titles to TiVo subscribers. In both cases the movies are downloaded directly to the set-top box via the broadband connection.
