The German publishing firm Axel Springer AG has said it has sold its stake in ProSiebenSat.1 to Lavena Holding 5 GmbH, the investment company owned by KKR and Permira. The publisher owned 24% of the commercial broadcaster, of which half were voting shares. Lavena Holding now owns 100% of the voting stock and 62.7% of all shares. Last year, Haim Saban sold its majority stake in the broadcaster to Lavena after Springer was forbidden by the German monopoly commission to take full control of ProSiebenSat.1.
