UPC Poland’s long-awaited digital cable service will finally make its debut in May this year. Local reports indicate that it will offer an EPG, HD channels, VOD and PVR and be initially available in Warsaw, before being rolled out to other large cities later in the year. UPC has also just re-branded its Internet access service UPC Live and introduced three new packages, one of which – at 20Mbps – is the fastest in Poland offered to individual clients. UPC is the largest cable operator in Poland in the terms of subscriber numbers, ahead of Vectra, Multimedia Polska and Aster.
