Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KKRiT) is reported to have awarded the regional station TV Puls terrestrial frequencies for the cities of Wroclaw and Szczecin TV Puls is backed by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. and aims to eventually become a rival to the national commercial stations Polsat and TVN. It recently managed to have the terms of its licence changed and can now offers a variety of programming rather content of a socio-religious nature.
