A fine of BGN200,000 (€102,267) imposed on the incumbent Bulgarian telco BTC for uncompetitive behaviour last September has been upheld by the country’s Supreme Administrative Court (SAC). According to local reports, the decision is the latest in several against BTC and cannot be appealed. The telco, which was taken over by AIG Investments for €1.66 billion last year, accounts for around 97% of the fixed line market in Bulgaria and is planning to shortly launch an IPTV service.
