The Turkish competition board has given its approval to the sale of ATV-Sabah to the Calik Group subsidiary Turkuaz Radio Television. The board said the sale was not in contravention of competition legislation.
Turkey’s second largest media company ATV-Sabah was purchased by the unlisted Calik Group for the minimum $1.1 billion (€750m) after the other bidders dropped out of the auction process.
