The Norwegian region of Rogaland is now less than 50 days away from analogue switch off. The move is scheduled to take place at 11.30 on March 4 with 98% of the 30,000 households in the region expected to be able to receive the signal with the aid of a decoder.
The switchover process is being masterminded by NTV, the company owned jointly by NRK, TV 2 and Telenor Broadcast Holding.
Public channels NRK1, NRK2 and NRK3/NRK Super will be transmitted free-to-air with TV2, local television and an open access channel available free though on the Riks TV smart card.
