The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is likely to be floated in both Warsaw and London in the first quarter of this year. Local reports indicate that the sale of around 25% in the company, which ended last year with around 2 million subscribers, could net up to PLN1.5 billion (€417.6 million). Following the collapse of the Axel Springer deal, an IPO at Polsat itself looks increasingly likely. According to its owner Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, it could see up to 40% off its shares sold, earning – in the view of local sources – up to PLN3.2 billion.
