The new Austrian national commercial broadcaster Puls 4 is set for launch on January 28 at 6pm. Programming on the first day will comprise of news, talkshows, show news and the movie ‘Silent Witness’. Puls 4 was originally slated for a February 4 start, but its owner ProSiebenSat.1 has brought the date forward. The new channel will be available on DTT, cable and DTH, as well as on mobile TV on the Austria 3 network. ProSiebenSat.1 acquired the station when it bought local Viennese broadcaster Puls TV last summer to turn it into a national channel.
