Data produced by AGB Nielsen Media Research shows that the two leading news-based channels in Poland saw their audience shares fall in December 2007. TVN24, which is owned by ITI Group, posted 2.29% among all viewers aged 4+, as opposed to 3.02% in November, and the public broadcaster’s TVP Info was down from 5.12% to 4.25%. They were also less watched in cable and satellite homes, TVN24 posting 4.29% (5.62%) and TVP Info 3.13% (3.69%) in December. However, the general tend for both channels remains upwards.
