The Polish DTH platforms Cyfrowy Polsat and Cyfra+ could be fined up to PLN132 million (€36.7 million) for uncompetitive behaviour.Local reports indicate that the Wroclaw offices of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) are investigating allegations that the two platforms threatened to pull out of agreements with distributors if the latter also decided to supply set-top boxes to receive the ITI Group-backed platform n. Given that the activity appears to have bee national, the case will b e forwarded to UOKiK’s head office in Warsaw. The prospective fines total 10% of the two platform’s revenues.
