The Czech national commercial broadcaster TV Nova has posted an all-day audience share of 42.99% among viewers aged 15-54 for 2007. In primetime, between 19.00-23.00, the figure was an even higher 46.83%. Its viewing figures among those aged 15-24 stood at 52.22% in primetime (up 2.04% on 2006) and 47.30% all-day (up 2.80%). CME-backed TV Nova was one of the first national commercial stations in CEE, making its debut in 1994. An instant and enduring success, it competes in a market served by the public broadcaster CT, national commercial station Prima TV and growing number of thematic services.
