Comstar UTS has announced that it now has over 40,000 broadband subscribers in the Russian regions, or 70% more than 12 months earlier. Three-quarters are served by Digital Telephone Networks South (DTN), the leading alternative telco in the south of the country that Sistema-backed Comstar wholly acquired in the second half of this year. DTN, which is present in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov region and Krasnodar, includes IPTV in its offer. Comstar UTS also provides broadband services in – amongst others – St Petersburg.
