The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ has signed an agreement with the incumbent telco TPSA that will allow it become a triple play company. As of Q2 2008 it will offer its subscribers telephony and broadband Internet access in addition to TV channels, delivered either via DSL or wireless. France Telecom-backed TPSA, on the other hand, will from the second half of next year offer Cyfra+ to customers not yet able to receive broadband Internet access. Reception will be made possible through CDMA or WiMax technology, thereby also allowing for Internet access. Specific details of the deal will be negotiated by the two parties up to March 31, 2008.
