The 24-hour pre-school channel JimJam has been launched on a feed that covers Central Europe, thereby increasing its reach by a further 1.4 million homes. |It will be carried by UPC Broadband in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, with coverage set to be extended to Romania in January next year. JimJam, which has just received a licence from the UK regulator Ofcom, is produced by the ChelloMedia subsidiary Chello Zone and HIT Entertainment and is already available to Sky Italia subscribers. It will be rolled out across the rest of Western Europe, Asia and other territories in 2008.
