The Russian company Corbina Telecom plans to sell between 20-30% of its shares in an IPO in London or Russia in the second half of 2008, according to a local report. The move is expected to net it up to $240 million (€163.5 million). Corbina Telecom is owned by the alternative carrier Golden Telecom and launched an IPTV service earlier this year. Golden Telecom’s CEO Jean-Pierre Vandromme said last month that it plans to be the leading telco in Russia in terms of capitalisation and revenues within the next 5-6 years.
