SES New Skies today announced three senior appointments which establishes its new management team following the completion of all post acquisition integration activities.
Gerson Souto has been named Senior Vice President Commercial Services and will assume general responsibility for the commercial management of SES New Skies existing satellite capacity and service offerings. Gerson was Senior Vice President Strategic Market Development at SES.
Steve Collar has been appointed Senior Vice President Market Development. Steve, who has been with the company since 1999 was instrumental in the design, configuration and procurement of four of SES New Skies’ existing spacecraft.
Jonas Mattsson will join as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective January 2, 2008. Jonas has most recently been the CFO of SES Sirius.
These three new appointees join veterans Scott Sprague, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Thai Rubin, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, as members of the Management Committee.
