The French international broadcaster TV5 Monde has launched an online VOD service in conjunction with the French online publisher La Banque Audiovisuelle. The new on-demand service offers almost 900 documentaries and programmes about sports, nature, science, travel and health.
Programmes can be rented for a 48 hour period, for a fee of €1, or as a permanent download for fees starting at €1.99.
The service, called ‘La VODéothèque’, is available worldwide, but unfortunately does not serve Mac and Linux customers.
