The new Czech film channel Nova Cinema has secured carriage on UPC’s cable network. It will also be added to the operator’s DTH platform UPC Direct in the first quarter of 2008. Nova Cinema is distributed by Astra at 23.5 degrees East and made its debut in November. It is already available to subscribers of both Digi TV and the pre-pay service CS Link, the Czech Republic’s other two DTH platforms.
