The Bulgarian new generation telco Max Telecom says it has launched a WiMax-delivered service that will offer a 40-channel TV package, high-speed Internet access and VoIP. A relative newcomer in the Bulgarian market, Max Telecom launched its first full WiMax service in the town of Pazardjik on June 1 this year. It currently provides wireless services to around 30% of the country’s population in 10 towns and cities and expects to eventually have national coverage.
