Comstar-Direct, the leading provider of broadband services in Moscow, ended Q3 with 452,600 residential subscribers. Of these, 106,000 were double play, also receiving its IPTV service. Twelve months earlier, the figures stood at 313,200 and 58,600 respectively. Total revenues for its residential broadband services amounted to $25.1 million (€17 million) in Q3, or 19% more than in the corresponding period in 2006. Comstar-Direct is 52% owned by, and a consolidated subsidiary of, Comstar UTS, with Sistema Mass Media holding the remaining shares. Comstar UTS’s revenues in Q3 amounted to $372.2 million, or 28% more than 12 months earlier.
