The Belgian cable operator Telenet will launch two HD bouquets on its network on December 1. The starter package costs €5 monthly and offers National Geographic HD and the Flemish cultural channel Exqi. A premium package consists of the premium channels Prime One HD (movies) and PrimeSport HD and costs an additional €5 on top of the premium subscription.
Viewers will have to rent the “HD Digicorder” for €10 a month, which includes a PVR. Long time customers and subscribers to the Prime channels will receive the first four months for free.
