UPC Broadband Slovakia’s Internet service chello is now reported to have 40,000 subscribers. Last month chello’s reach was extended to the town of Poprad, bringing the total number it is available in to 10 and the household coverage to 300,000. In December it will also be available in more locations, including the town of Zvolen. Chello currently offers its subscribers Internet access speeds of up to 15Mbps. UPC Broadband Slovakia recently announced it will no increase the prices of any of its services at the beginning of next year. It will also make up to 50 TV channels available to all its cable TV subscribers.
