The registration for the tender for the Turkish Sabah-ATV Group is reported to have attracted only three applicants, according to local reports. The tender, which will see 25% of the group sold off, is due to take place on December 5, and Ahmet Ertürk, the president of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), has already hinted that it may be put back if not enough firm bids are received. News Corp., CME, RLT Group, ProSiebenSat.1 and the Greek commercial TV broadcaster Antena TV were all understood to have an interest in the group, whose interests include the ATV television channel.
