Poland will have a new regional station from next February or March, according to a local report. The service, which will be named TVS, will be distributed free-to-air (FTA) via Eutelsat’s Hot Bird and made available to cable operators and the country’s three DTH platforms. It will also have a presence on the Internet and offer some of its content for mobile distribution.TVS will show a mix of programming and target the Silesia region in the south west of Poland. Its owner is Arkadiusz Holda, whose other interests include the construction company Holdimex.
