In the fierce competiton between cable and satellite, DirecTV has announced it has now reached its goal of offering 100 HD channels to its DTH customers. The company this week added five new basic cable networks, five new pay-per-view channels and 13 new regional sports networks.
The five new basic HD channels are from Viacom, Country Music Television HD, MTV HD, Nickelodeon HD, Spike HD and VH1 HD. DirecTV will also add Biography HD before the end of the year.
