A trial involving the transmission of TV Nova in HD on the Czech DTH platform CS Link is likely to come to an end later this month, according to a local report. Likewise, similar trials on both DTT and IPTV will probably end by the end of the year. An HD version of the Czech public broadcaster’s first channel CT1 is already distributed by the IPTV service O2 TV, while TV Nova has previously said it would eventually like to launch up to five HD channels.
