The Russian alternative telco Golden Telecom has posted consolidated revenues of $350.4 million (€239.1 million) for Q3, or 53% more than in the same period in 2006, At the same time, its EBITDA rose by 35% year-on-year to $85.1 million. The company has also said it currently has a total of 394,900 broadband subscribers, of who the majority (286,200) are FTTB, and the remainder either WiFi (51,900) or xDSL (56,800). It also now accounts for 16% of the broadband market in Moscow, as opposed to 3% a year ago, and around 8% for Russia as a whole. Golden Telecom launched a trial IPTV service using the infrastructure of its subsidiary Corbina earlier this year.
