The Belgian SBS affiliate VT4 has launched a number of games as part of its digital teletext service on the Telenet cable network. The Belgian interactive TV developer Zappware has brought the games together in a portal, called ‘Babalooza’. Viewers can buy a day pass per game, a day pass for all the games or a three-day pass for all the games.
The Babalooza games are part of Zappware’s iView for Broadcasters/Operators platform. Besides a range of interactive services, it also comprises a platform for the production and management of these services. ‘iView Babalooza’ supports various business models such as pay-per-play gaming, monthly subscriptions and sponsored games.
