The Czech station TV Nova remained by far the most lucrative in CME’s Central and East European portfolio in Q3, accounting for $51,140,000 (€35,400,558) of revenues totalling $174,836,000. Its Romanian assets, which include the national commercial station Pro TV, were the next most valuable, with revenues of $44,412,000. However, both its Croatian operation Nova TV (-$2,981,000) and Ukrainian thematic channels Kino and Citi (- $1,339,000) posting negative EBITDA. Overall, CME posted a net loss of $18,763,000 in the quarter, as opposed to a net income of $3,934,000 in the corresponding period in 2006. However, it had a net income of $15,577,000 in the first nine months of this year, compared to a loss of $5,808,000 in 2006.
