Set-top box manufacturer ADB has revealed that payments from ITI Neovision, operator of Poland’s n DTH platform, will be reduced by $30 million. In a trading statement ADB says that standard payment terms are now being applied on product deliveries to ITI from the order that was originally announced in August.
Towards the end of October n had 204,000 subscribers and was looking for a pre-Christmas surge to take it to its 300,000 target.
Elsewhere, ADB reports that it has grown its customer base by 6 customers since the beginning of 2007. The product mix is increasingly moving towards the high end – the ADB order is for example for an MHP compatible HD receiver.
Manufacturing is now being consolidated in Thailand, where the majority of products are now manufactured. The creation of dedicated business units within the STB division is now underway and expected to be completed by January.
