Belgian cable operator Telenet has started proceedings with the State Council about the sale of eight Walloon cable operators to the joint venture of Tecteo (the former ALE-Teledis) and Brutélé.
The company was one of the original bidders for the eight networks in the southern part of the country, but was removed from the list of potential buyers. Although Telenet was shortlisted as one of the potential buyers, they were removed after the two Walloon operators showed an interest in buying the eight networks.
The Council will hold a first hearing on November 7.
