The incumbent Polish telco TPSA ended Q3 with 1,952,000 broadband subscribers, or 43.1% of the country’s total. Its broadband revenues in the first three quarters of this year meanwhile amounted to PLN911 million (€250.2 million), or 4.2% more than in the corresponding period in 2006. On the other hand, TP’s total revenues in the period amounted to PLN13,594 million, a fall of 2.5% on 2006. TPSA operates an IPTV service named videostrada that is currently understood to have around 50,000 subscribers. Separately, the consulting company PMR has estimated that the telecom market in Poland will be worth PLN38.8 billion this year
