The local company Engrotus is reported to have lodged the highest bid for 49.13% stake in the incumbent Slovenian telco Telekom Slovenije. At €450 per share, it dwarfs the €350 offered by the Icelandic company Skipti and €317 by the incumbent Hungarian and Croatian telcos, both of which are backed by Deutsche Telekom. A total of 12 companies are interested in buying into Telekom Slovenije.
