Discovery Networks UK has hired Paul Wilson as the group’s new vice president of marketing. The former head of marketing and product management for Sky’s Multiroom and Sky+ PVR products will report to senior vice president, marketing Rebecca Rormark.
Wilson’s responsibilities will include the development of Discovery’s franchise strategy including the management of marketing campaigns across outdoor, radio, television, press and online.
He previously enjoyed spells at Saatchi, Carat, Metro Goldwyn Mayer and spent two years with BBC Worldwide’s internet and interactive team.
