Czech ad rate hikes cause stir

The Czech Republic’s three leading broadcasters are all set to increase their ad rates significantly next year – 20% in the case of TV Nova and 15% each for Prima TV and Czech Television (CT). Revealed in the case of TV Nova by the local press late last week, the hikes have already caused some controversy and could be investigated by the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition (UOHS).
