The Belgian cable operator Coditel, which serves large parts of the capital Brussels, says it has reached an agreement with French language premium TV platform Be.tv to integrate its offer in the Coditel digital platform. This will allow viewers to access both the digital platform from Coditel as well as the six premium channels from Be.tv on a single cable tuner.
Until now, viewers had to rent a separate decoder to view the Be.tv channels. The Be.tv offer consists of six premium channels – Be 1, Be 1+1h, Be Séries, Be Ciné, Be Sport 1 and Be Sport 2.
Coditel offers its subscribers a number of set-top boxes for rental. They include a Cablebox HD, which also incorporates a hard disk recorder.
