Streaming internet TV company Joost told reporters in Cannes it plans to offer live television streams alongside its on-demand programming. The company will start to test live streaming early next year.
Joost hopes to secure European sports rights, as it has done with Major League Baseball in the United States. The company has entered into a deal with ITN for recorded Premier League soccer clips.
