BBWF – BERLIN. Telenor plans to launch its own IPTV service sometime next year, Berit Svendsen, VP and head of Nordic fixed division, told the audience here in Berlin during her keynote. People want to pay for premium content and increasingly watch TV and video content via the Internet on their PCs.
Telenor has waited to roll out an IPTV service until it was satisfied that it can deliver a stable platform and has the necessary fault-handling procedures and customer support systems in place.
