The Greek incumbent telco OTE has increased its stake in the mobile company Cosmote in order to maintain two-thirds of the voting rights. Cosmote is the leading provider of mobile services in Greece and also has a presence in Albania (AMC), Bulgaria (Globul), Macedonia (Cosmofon) and Romania (Cosmote Romania). In other developments, it has been reported that OTE is in dispute with the National Telecoms Committee and has been fined €3 million by the regulator.
