The Ukrainian 3G mobile operator PEOPLEnet has opted for a Nortel advanced mobile solution to expand its existing network across the country. This will allow PEOPLEnet, the country’s first 3G company, to offer faster wireless Internet speeds and such services as mobile TV. It is currently operational in nine cities including the capital, Kiev, and aims to cover 80% of the country by the end of 2008.
