The Romanian MSO RCS/RDS has announced plans for an IPO in London. It will see the company dispose of 15% of its shares, with a view to raising some $500 million (€353.9 million). RCS/RDS is the second largest cable operator in Romania after UPC and also operates the DTH platform DigiTV in six CEE countries. The new funding will allow it to expand the latter to other countries in the region, including most probably Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia and Slovenia.
