BSkyB is no longer accepting new channels due to lack of space. Nicola Bamford, its director of channels and operations, has told broadcasters that there woud be a risk of “malfunction” in the EPG, which already has over 600 TV and radio services listed, if such a move were not taken. Those channels already in the ‘launch queue’ will in due course be added to the EPG, but “with extreme caution”.
