Arqiva has signed a contract with Eurosport to support live broadcasts of English Premier League matches to viewers in Hungary and Romania. It will provide Eurosport, which has Premier League rights for three seasons starting 2007/8, with use of a permanent fibre link from London to the Arqiva teleport in Paris-Boulogne, and then relay to the play-out centre via a further dedicated fibre link. Arqiva will also at times distribute video direct from English Premiership grounds.
