Telekom Slovenije has announced that it has acquired a 70% stake in Aneks, the leading alternative telco in Republika Srpska (Bosnia & Herzegovina) for €3.3 million. The Slovenian incumbent also recently acquired the ISP Blic.net, and now the remaining owner of Aneks will become a 30% shareholder in Blic.net. Telekom Slovenije in addition plans to merge Aneks and Blic.net into a single company, in which its will hold a 70% stake, at the beginning of 2008. Telekom Slovenije says its objective is to become the leading provider of alternative and advanced and broadband IP services in Republika Srpska, with a market share of 30%.
