Germany’s mini-pay platform Premiere Star has secured 80,000 subscribers during its first month on air and is on target for 130,000 subscribers by the end of the year. In a report in the news daily Handelsblatt, chief executive Wolfram Winter says the promising subscriber numbers have unlocked talks with potential investors.
Premiere is willing to sell up to 49% in Premiere Star. Investment has already come from Hypo-Vereinsbank (10%) and EM Sport Media (5%).
