UPC Romania is reported to have launched new packages for its triple play service, which is now available in options costing RON50 (€15), RON75 and RON100 a month. Its digital cable TV service is meanwhile being offered for monthly subscription fees of RON35 (60 channels), RON45 (101 channels) and RON65 (107 channels), while Internet download speeds have been raised to 20Mbps. Local reports also say UPC Romania has allocated €30 million this year for upgrading its infrastructure.
