Data produced by TNS OBOP shows that the public channels TVP1 and TVP2 accounted for the most viewers aged 4+ in Poland in September. However, their respective shares of 22.72% and 18.47% were both lower than the 23.60% and 19.34% recorded in the corresponding month last year. Polsat was in third place with 16.46% (15.42% in September 2006) and TVN fourth with 14.96% (17.17%). TVN 24 was meanwhile the most popular thematic channel (3.6%, compared with 2.51% in September 2006), followed by the children’s Mini Mini (0.76%, 0.82%). TVP1 was the most popular channel among viewers aged 16-49 in the country as a whole and TVN for those living in urban areas.
