YooMedia reduced its pre-tax losses in the first half as the interactive TV company benefited from a reduction in interest costs and administration expenses.
YooMedia reported a first half pre-tax loss of £3.15m, compared to £491m one year ago. However, revenues also fell to £26.05m from £31.2m in the first half of 2006.
In July, YooMedia quit the fixed odd gaming business after selling subsidiary The Gaming Channel to the Spanish-based investment company Kasei 2000.
